Go with whatever you are most comfortable with. My first road bike was a 61 cubic inch, 1936 HD EL Knucklehead. Folowed shortly by another EL, two FL Panheads, an Evo, two small motor Indian Chiefs, two sport scouts, and a few other assorted antiques of the Euro/Asian denomination. While all were comfortable, and I miss most, I've really grown to like the Savage. I've got a wrecked back (lower 3 vertebrae twisted up from a crash), and the light weight, low vibration Savage is just about right. With taller bars and a full rear fender, this bike has the potential to be the best scoot I've ever owned. So, like I said, get what you want. The Savage is a near perfect beginner bike; just take it easy until you get used to it.
Good hunting, enjoy whatever you decide on. Be it a Savage or not, you're welcome here anytime.
